X-167512 is the Bureau file number of an X-File marked with the words, "VISIONARY ENCOUNTERS; W/ THE DEAD". Soon after Christmas 1993, this file was purposefully found in and removed from its filing cabinet in the X-files office of the J. Edgar Hoover FBI Building by Special Agent Dana Scully, shortly after the death of her father. However, she placed the file back into storage moments after having removed it, taking only so long as to glimpse at its front cover. (TXF: "Beyond the Sea")
