Mr. Spock, often incorrectly known as Doctor Spock, is a fictional character in the Star Trek television series.
In the early 1970s, Fox Mulder once dressed up as Mr. Spock for Halloween. (TXF: "Dreamland II")
In February 1997, Mike Millar made fun of Fox Mulder's search for aliens by telling him he would report back if he found "Dr. Spock's phaser." (TXF: "Tempus Fugit")
In May 2001, Larry Rose referred to Ara Frumin as Mr. Spock. (TLG: "The Lying Game")
Background Information[]
Leonard Nimoy, the actor who starred as Spock in most of the character's appearances, can be seen in animated form in "The Springfield Files", an episode of The Simpsons that also features animated versions of Mulder and Scully.
A scene in the film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan which features the death of Spock, is deliberately referenced in a scene from The X-Files episode "Jump the Shark", in which The Lone Gunmen die. In the movie, Spock talked to his commanding officer and friend, Captain Kirk, through a wall of glass while dying. In The X-Files episode, Jimmy Bond speaks to the Lone Gunmen through a pane of glass shortly before they die.
