When a pregnant Dana Scully was refusing to divulge the sex of her unborn baby son to her mother in 2001, Dana – indirectly referring to the gender of herself and her siblings – asked their mother, "Didn't you have to wait with us?" This question went unanswered. (TXF: "Essence")
