Psychic photography is a phenomenon in which someone with psychic abilities is able to influence unexposed film so that when it develops, their psychic projections appear on it. This is not necessarily a willful act and can occur by mere proximity to unexposed film. Mulder and Scully witnessed a case of psychic photography produced by the criminal Gerald Schnauz.
