Michael Sloan was a surveyor sent into the Leon County woods to conduct surveys.
Biography[]
Sloan and his colleague Marty Fox were conducting surveys with equipment in the Leon County woods for a real estate agency that wanted to build luxury buildings near the forest. Sloan mocked the forest for being destroyed. While steadying one of his tripods, he noticed blood on the ground and ducked. He was captured and killed by an invisible creature that was lurking nearby. (TXF: "Detour")
