Michael Asekoff (played by Alf Humphreys) was the husband of Mrs. Asekoff and father of Louis Asekoff. While teaching his son to shoot in the Leon County woods, he stumbled upon bloody remnants of two surveyors. He had his son and their dog, Bo, return home while he tried to find out what had happened to the surveyors. As Louis ran home, he heard his father fire two shots of his gun, but Asekoff vanished.
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully inadvertently became involved with the investigation of Asekoff's disappearance. Mulder suspsected that an invisible creature was responsible. Sure enough, he and Scully discovered an underground network where the pair of creatures kept their victims alive. Asekoff was among the victims rescued.
