John Amis (born September 12, 1968) is a man who, by April 1996, worked as a forensic analyst at the King County Crime Lab in Seattle. That year, he helped his friend Craig Willmore, a Special Agent for the FBI Seattle field office, investigate the mystery of the Russian ship Tarakan, and was accidentally subjected to radiation poisoning in the process.
