Melvin Frohike finds a photo of Stan Mizer (left) and J.T. Guthrie (right).

J.T. Guthrie was a quartermaster in the missile command division of Biznot Air Force Base. His friend, Stan Mizer, had him hide a decoy car in a missile silo under his authority. The real water-powered car was hidden in the barn at his farmhouse.

Dying just a few months before the arrival of the Lone Gunmen in their quest for the water powered car, a bull named for the late J.T. Guthrie ended up saving their lives.
