A "Grey" is a colloquial term used to describe the alien species that crashed at Roswell in 1947, and planned to colonize Earth in 2012. (TXF: "The Truth") They are also referred to as "Reticulans." (TXF: "Squeeze"; "Blood") this is the name of the the aliens mature form

They worked with the Syndicate as part of the Project and were referred to as colonists until its demise in 1999. (TXF: "One Son")
