Barbara Beaumont is a retired actress yearning to retain her youth and beauty for life, which she hoped to make eternal. With the help of doctor Randolph Luvenis, the two started a cult of young followers, turning them into cannibals and nutritionists so Beaumont and Luvenis could eventually feed off all of them to gain eternal youth and life. Despite being in her 80s, Beaumont succeeded in reaching her 30s biologically again. Juliet Bocanegra started sabotaging the cult's efforts by attacking and killing their servants to save her sister, Olivia, who was next to secretly be fed on by the two leaders. Beaumont and Luvenis panicked as their resources were running low and their operations were being sabotaged, but they kept feeding and even manipulating cult members to feed them and each other, particularly in a surgical catheter conjoining Luvenis was using for himself and planned to use for Beaumont so they sap the lives of their followers to keep to the couple alone. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were shocked to see Beaumont's youth, and knowing they were had, she signaled the cult members to attack and kill the two agents. But Bocanegra came out and saved them by killing Beaumont with a stake to her heart, causing the cultists to panic and the agents to take them into custody. Luvenis was later killed when trying to drain Olivia from conjoined catheterization, instantly from a blow to the head with a hammer, ending the operations once and for all.
