Armistead Shanks (born on October 14, 1942) was a member of the FBI. By 1996, he held the rank of Special Agent in Charge at the FBI field office in Seattle, Washington. On April 2 of the same year, Shanks conferred with Assistant Director Walter Skinner about the disappearance of two Special Agents, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
