Maybe the Myth arc is really went over my head, but what really is the point of this entire plot of this episode? Through Haskell, they (whoever they are) purposely revealed to Scully about abductees pregnancies resulted in alien babies? But why?
They already got Scully under control through her doctor (Parenti). If she gave birth and they decided to steal the baby or swap it or whatever, their plan would be easy. So what is the point on making Scully knew about the bigger conspiracy?? She didn't even know about the letters Haskell sent, or even about the other pregnancies. After events in One Son, she practically thought the file is closed. Why lure her back into it?
I know the Samantha retcon episode is bad, but this might be the worst plot in the arc.
P.S: I haven't finish the series, so I might barking for no reason and this episode plot actually build to something. idk. it's 2 AM and i make this account just to rant goddamit.
